eWallet App Reviews

STILL crashing after updates!

I had some problems with sync not automating and was happy to see an update that was supposed to fix the sync function. It didn’t work! The app STILL crashes and no further updates in sight. I use a Mac laptop and an iphone and need to stop using the laptop version altogether until they fix this ongoing issue. waste of money.

Very satisfied with this app!

I used to use the same password for every website, and began to worry after several high-profile hacks comprimised some of my online accounts. It was a pain to go in and change them all, and an even bigger pain to try to keep track of unique passwords for each. After downloading this app and using it for a week, I decided to try the iPhone version as well. I love the ability to generate random passwords that meet security requirements of every website I use. I literally have HUNDREDS of unique passwords stored in eWallet to manage accounts for both work and personal life.

Been using ewallet since my first PDA

The others i have tried didn’t cut it. Ease of sync is the key. Now have ewallet on 3 computers two iPhones and 2 Pads. Theyre always in sync, so any changes or adds, by my wife or me, are immediately on all pieces. Love the app.

Great all around password manager

I have been using eWallet for many years. I use it on my Windows PC, Macbook and iPhone. I could not imagine getting by without it. It is a great app that just keeps getting better.

Best Password App

e-Wallet is probably on of the best password apps available. It syncs seamless between my iMacs, iPhone, and iPad. My whole life is on there. Driver’s license (with photo of the card), passport, etc. All secure in one place. I have been using it for several years now, and without any major hiccups. I will most certainly recommend this app as a must have!

Great Password App!!

I have been using eWallet for 8+ years on all types of platforms and it works GREAT!! Windows, Blackberry, iPhone iPad and now Mac. Working in technology this is, in my opinion, the best app for passwords. I have used and tried others over the years, but this one is superior. Some reviews you read people may not like the fact that cloud syncing doesn’t work on every platform or that you have to pay for it, so what… Seriously why would you want your all passwords in the cloud anyway? While it may sound convenient and less hassle, do you really need that much instant gratification… Syncing over Wi-Fi is going to give the protection you are looking for to protect your passwords. The flexibility this app gives you for organizing all your information is excellent. This is a must have app and I recommend it everyone! Even the guys at the Apple Store that sold me the Mac bought it while I was standing there when I showed them how easy it was to organize everything and all you could do. Hope this helps. Enjoy!!

MyWallet works great for me!

It is simple, reliable and convenient across my laptop, iPhone and iPad. Very easy to use, even for a non-geek like me. Highly recommended.

I’ve tried several and keep coming back to eWallet

It *just works*! Not fancy, but rock-solid on my Mac, PC, and iPhone. I have been using eWallet for several years. I always have my passwords, and I use Dropbox to keep them all in sync.

Use on phone and laptop, easy transfer when I bought a new laptop

UPDATE: I’ve used eWallet for years now without any problems. The latest success is that I bought a new MacBook Pro, and easily got my library of passwords transfered to the new laptop with a simple sync from my iPad. The person who said he can’t sync via wifi doesn’t understand eWallet. That’s exactly how this syncs. I can even sync my iPad and my iPhone at the same time, and it syncs all ways — if I’ve added passwords on my phone and on my computer it will sync both directions. It’s just great. I really like eWallet. I find it most useful for maintaining website passwords. I use the “generate password” feature often and customize the given PW with other characters. I store details about various website password requirements in one of the optional fields to help jog my memory, e.g., “password must be at least 8 characters and include one of the following symbols.” Having the app on my phone in addition to the laptop is genius, and syncing is simple and quick. Of the many options (and apps) out there for storing this kind of information, I find eWallet the simplest to use and suitably secure.

Finally replaced Notes for my username/password info

I had been using Notes on my iPhone to keep track of usernames and passwords. Of course Notes is really terrible for this but nothing else was around when I began. Finally I bit the bullet and searched for a good solution to keeping track of this info. I have been using eWallet for about 3 months now and it is just about everything I could ask for. It has options for many different types of info. And you can customize them to some extent. I try to use my desktop machine to enter info (but not always) and then synch to my iPhone and iPad. I have read where some people have trouble synching but I have not. It has worked fine for me.

Satisified with eWallet for 10 yrs now across multiple PCs, Macs, iphones

I have been using eWallet for 10 years, first on blackberry and PC, then seamlessly have been migrating throug several macs and iphones. I keep the file on dropbox for easy migration. I love the ability to modify field names, autogenerate passwords and copy/paste passwords without revelaing them. The only thing that I miss is auto entering card details into eWallet by making a photo of the card.

problems after El Capitan update

Has been freezing and unable to sync with my devieces after my upgrade to El Capitan, the app is unusable.

not user friendly

I tried it several times but it is not user friendly.

I’m Very Happy

I’ve been using eWallet for about a year and have it on my Mac, iPhone and PC. Sync works well across WiFi. The added convience of using my fingerprint on the iPhone 5s is a huge plus for me. I would recommend this product in a New York minute. Well worth the price.

No automatic cloud sync with Mac to iOS device

Since using eWallet I’ve always manually synced Macs with iOS devices. It was only recently that I discovered the iOS devices were syncing automatically with my Dropbox account to each other. I read the fine print and discovered that while PC and iOS devices automatically sync the Mac won’t. Though I love and use this product daily, not having the Mac playing on the school ground with the other kids has become annoying. When the day comes everyone syncs automatically I will change my rating to 4 or 5.

POOR User Interface

This is the most retarded piece of software I have had the misfortune to buy/use. Synchronization is nearly impossible for a non computer literate person and if an error occurs, good luck on recovery. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Simple But Effective PW Nanager

Use it on my iPhone and sync it with the mac version on MacBook Pro. More than adequate settings and options. IT JUST WORKS!

so suprising about how much we have on e-wallet!

OK, I’ve never written a review about an app, but this one is too good not to brag on it! I use to keep passwords on a spreadsheet - cumbersome and not very secure! So we got e-wallet after looking at alternatives and reviews of the various apps. Bought e-wallet and have recommended it to many friends and family. We use it on our PC, 2 ipads and 2 iphones. Now we’ve jumped to our first Mac computer and happy to see that we don’t have to pay for it again! We use it for passwords, of course, but also for Insurance (how many policies and coverages do you have?) also for bank accounts, credit cards, brokerage accounts, home wifi info, passports, health records, membershps, and even use it for our parents info! So, quit looking around and buy it. I’ve not tried any of the competetors, never had a need to look further!
