eWallet App Reviews

107 Customer Reviews:

I started to use it about one and a half year ago and now I cannot imagine how I could live without such software before. It is great application. I love especially two things: 1. simplicity of synchronization between devices (mac, iphone, ipad) 2. autopass functionality which automatically fills the required fields in the browsers

Guys, we’re still waiting for the ability to sync with iOS devices using something different than wi-fi. Seriously, it’s 2014 here, and other products can do that. I’m a loyal customer but it just sucks to register on a new website, make yourself a safe password and to be unable to login there because you forgot to do this ridiculous non-automatic wi-fi sync. At the moment I’m seriously considering other options and withholding my recommendations about your software. How can I recommend it to my friends if there’s clearly more user-friendly software out there? Please do something about it! Cheers

Yes, it says so in the notes. However, this should be the FIRST note, it shouldnt have been hidden in the middle of the fine print. eWallet for Mac OS X syncs with other macs on the network, with iPhones and iPads and USB thumb drives, but NOT with Windows computers. I will not be able to use it because I have a mac and a PC. Passwords have to be synced automatically between the two "worlds", otherwise its useless. As for the rest, the "autofill" capability does not work with Ebay. Pity.

This app solved all my problems. Its easy to use, has instant password filling on websites and, most important thing in my opinion, can easily sync password on private network without requiring the storage of passwords archive on the Internet. Highly recommended.

My husband and I use this application all the time to keep our passwords and other vital information handy. It’s been a life saver more times than I can count! Mutliple categories, loads of different styles of cards (sub-categories), all of which you can edit to suit your purposes. The ability to add or remove entries is great. Cloud sync is fantastic, allowing me to keep everything in sync across all my devices. I can’t be happier. I can edit/add from anywhere and it immediately updates across all my devices. I’m never without the private information that I need. Better yet, neither is my husband! we can have so many different card “types” it’s amazing, keeping track of things I never thought of like clothes sizes, glasses/contacts prescriptions, medical information, prescriptions, allergies, car information, credit cards, insurance, membership information, software serial numbers, websites, the list goes on and on! A must have application for keeping track of all your needed information!

I am a schoolteacher who is required to log into many websites and resources in the natural process of my doing my job. Many of those passwords have to be changed on a regular basis. Add to that, all of my personal passwords for my personal and family needs, it becomes readily evident that no one could keep up with all those locations and passwords without the program like e-wallet. I am extremely pleased with the e-wallet. Not only does it keep all of my passwords safe, but it easily and successfully syncs all my devices.

Terrifically simple effective program which does what it should. Been using it for years and it never lets me down. The best part is the user experience is never frustrating so good job! Since it coordinates automatically across all my devices, I don’t have to worry about not having passwords, the bane of all our lives. I frankly don’t use the categories. I also wouldn’t mind a really simple card with just user name and password fields, but it’s no hassle.

It’s great!

Have used it for years now on all my three devices. It is probably an app I use really every day, couldn’t live without!

Takes a little while to learn its features, and usually just use simple formats. Very few negatives and would not hesitate to buy again. Synch between iPhone, iPad, MacBookAir, and Mac more aukward than necessary, buy it works.

I’ve had e-Wallet over 10 plus years ago. It was purchased for an organizer system before apps came about. Thus app is very easy to understanding, very dependable, useful and keeps my information safe. I use e-Wallet daily.

I’ve been using iLLium software products for many years. I find them indispensible. I will continue to use them in the future. I switched to eWallet after purchasing an iMac.

I used to use Passwords Plus, but I started using a MAC and had to find a new app as it di not play nice with MAC. I found eWallet after trying a few other apps and am really pleased. It’s intuitive, secure and easy to sync. It’s best feature is being able to sync securely to the cloud and then being able to sync all you devices with the cloud. The sync function doesn’t allow one device to override another. I normally use my MAC Air as my base, then when I sync with my devices I also sync with the cloud. I can update a card on my iPhone or iPad, then sync my MAC Air with the cloud. Best PW app I’ve found so far; beats the pants off of a hidden paper notebook or encrypted spreadsheet. Oh, with iPhone 6 and Touch ID, eWallet lets you use tough ID to open it. I can remember the PW, but biometrics is much better - just waiting for facial recognition. Cheers, Well done.

*Has hardly ever needed an update, but when it did this time, it lost three of my usernames and passwords. *Error Message: “eWallet was unable to upgrade the following cards because they were damaged. The damaged cards have been removed.” *These “cards” were working in the old version, but they got unilaterally deleted without warning during an update that could not be reversed. *That’s three out of over two hundred, seemingly not so bad, but the loss of THIS data can cause me to FOREVER lose access to other important data. *Backup wasn’t effective at retrieving the information. *Inexcusable because it was avoidable had the software checked for any sort of “damage” and warned me before upgrading. *Loss of trust. Is the rest of my data safe from errors like this? Who knows. Time to move on. It was good while it lasted.

I’ve used eWallet on multiple platforms (Win, iOS, Mac) and it is outstanding. Good, reliable way to keep track of all of my private info and multiple logins and passwords.

WML91 · 10 years ago

For the good side, it’s simple to maintain not just passwords, but all types of information about the accounts. It can be used for non-computer account information as well. I especially like the ability to modify the detail names to describe the actual information being stored. For the fair-to-poor side. I have issues with reliably syncing my Mac PowerBook, iPad2 and iPhone 5S. Sometimes it doubles, or triples the entries, which can be an annoance. Recently, I have not been able to get the iPad to sync with my PowerBook. Have not yet had time to delve into the cause.

Lyon1066 · 11 years ago

Used it for years and never an issue. Sync on laptop, ipad and iPhone and I’m never without passwords, as well as site data, comments, whatever. Don’t write many reviews but when something performs so reliably as promised like ewallet I wanted to share.
