Update Caused Loss of Three Usernames and Passwords!

*Has hardly ever needed an update, but when it did this time, it lost three of my usernames and passwords.
*Error Message: “eWallet was unable to upgrade the following cards because they were damaged. The damaged cards have been removed.”
*These “cards” were working in the old version, but they got unilaterally deleted without warning during an update that could not be reversed.
*That’s three out of over two hundred, seemingly not so bad, but the loss of THIS data can cause me to FOREVER lose access to other important data.
*Backup wasn’t effective at retrieving the information.
*Inexcusable because it was avoidable had the software checked for any sort of “damage” and warned me before upgrading.
*Loss of trust. Is the rest of my data safe from errors like this? Who knows. Time to move on. It was good while it lasted.
