Use on phone and laptop, easy transfer when I bought a new laptop
UPDATE: I’ve used eWallet for years now without any problems. The latest success is that I bought a new MacBook Pro, and easily got my library of passwords transfered to the new laptop with a simple sync from my iPad. The person who said he can’t sync via wifi doesn’t understand eWallet. That’s exactly how this syncs. I can even sync my iPad and my iPhone at the same time, and it syncs all ways — if I’ve added passwords on my phone and on my computer it will sync both directions.
It’s just great.
I really like eWallet. I find it most useful for maintaining website passwords. I use the “generate password” feature often and customize the given PW with other characters. I store details about various website password requirements in one of the optional fields to help jog my memory, e.g., “password must be at least 8 characters and include one of the following symbols.”
Having the app on my phone in addition to the laptop is genius, and syncing is simple and quick.
Of the many options (and apps) out there for storing this kind of information, I find eWallet the simplest to use and suitably secure.
